Hobbies

This weekend I went on a one night camping trip with friends! It was beyond any fun I've had in a LONG time as we (3 boys, 3 girls, no attachments <3) went just around the River Bend to this cute little campsite and just hung out. We did burn a crayon into a candle and make another candle into a glass starbucks frap thingy. That was entertaining. And we swam under a bridge at Foster lake... Fobay and Ginger jumped off it. Props to them. I really have no desire to jump off things. I actually impressed myself by swimming in the lake without fears of cold or fish. It was quite enjoyable :) and just soo nice to get out of Salem, away from work, and people, and parents (although I absolutely adore mine), and do whatever we wanted. I loved the group. Nicknames: Fo or Fobay (Forrest), Jew or Cobo (Cory), D-Gut or Cuban (Dylan), Cow (Holly), Ginger (Emma), and Posh (me, Carly). The boys set up our dinner last night. It was super cute.... grilled cheese and tomato soup, complete with a centerpiece of daisies and cups for water. The whole trip they were SUCH gentleman and did an awesome job at protecting us and just making us girls feel taken care of.
So, in our analysis of camping it is wonderful that camping and hiking (beautiful trail to Cascadia's waterfall) neverr everr gets old. You do it when you're old, you do it when you're young and God's creation in completely amazing all the time. It's a hobby.

I have another hobby. (For some reason I'm having trouble typing hobby and it's coming out jobby... that's funny). Recent as of this year... I MAKE HEADBANDS! I love it. I'm obsessed. I'm not very good...  my creativity is limited to google searches and trips to Forever 21 but ahhh I just get so excited about it. I'd upload a million pics of ones I like but that'd get boring and the universe probs doesn't care. Ps that's why I blog. (ironic). because these thoughts don't seem to matter to anything else. I think I already said that last time. Anyway, I'm happy I found that hobby. I sing and play guitar, but this is a unique one that you can kinda.. show off. or gift out. or share with friends (ginger). I do want to show off some headbands I love. Maybe I'll get this good one day. For now I'm still focusing on the basics.

Ummm tried to upload pics and it didn't work. Hope to update later. Bye for now

the first

I decided to start this thing. I don't know how much I'll write, and I really don't know if it'll be interesting. But I will add to the hype of the internet world by contributing to blogging. Blogging's a funny thing. I keep a journal. So I will write things here that I doubt my journal or facebook will care to know. And I will begin with this first entry.
My brother was married Sunday July 25, 2010. That was three days ago. SO WEIRD!! Molly is perfect for him. She is the sweetest girl I've met and completely matches Caleb and our family. God definitely knew what he was doing when he set them up. I believe their life together will be FUN. They love to love each other and show it continually.
My sister is engaged as well. Her wedding is Sunday September 5, 2010. Her fiance, Jon, is in every way her match as well.
It's so interesting to me that in the course of 6 weeks I will add a sister and brother to my family. And I will be done with weddings for siblings. They still have to wait for me to find someone and get married, they'll still attend my (their sister's) wedding. But I have no more sister/brother weddings. I'm done.
Prepare yourself, dear reader, for I think this is my style of writing. I explain things the way my brain explains them. Tediously and needlessly explanatory.
I'm watching Grease. The first time I typed that I spelt it Greece.
That'll be it for my first post. I still have things to say, but I'm not ready to be interesting and good at this blogging thing yet.
